Droidventure (“Droidventure”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an AI-first institute for marketing and future business leaders, based in Ahmedabad, India. We operate this website and the programs, placement services and resources offered through it.

This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit our site, apply to a program, hire from our network, work with us, or otherwise interact with Droidventure — and the choices you have. It applies to all of our websites and services that link to it.

For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Droidventure is the data controller of the personal information described here.

We collect information you give us directly, information we gather automatically as you use the site, and a limited amount from trusted third parties. We only collect what we genuinely need to run our services.

• To deliver our services — process applications, run enrolments, teach programs, and provide placement and career support.
• To communicate with you — reply to enquiries, send service updates, schedules and important notices about your program.
• To improve what we do — understand how the site and programs are used so we can make them better.
• To support hiring partners — where you are a learner opting into placement, share relevant profile details with employers, with your knowledge.
• To send marketing — only where you have opted in or are an existing contact, and always with an easy way to opt out.
• To meet legal and security obligations — prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time); the performance of a contract with you, such as delivering a program you enrolled in; our legitimate interests in running and improving Droidventure, balanced against your rights; and legal obligations we are required to meet.

Where we rely on consent — for example, marketing emails — you are free to say no without it affecting the core service you signed up for.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used so we can improve it. Some are essential; others are analytics or marketing cookies that we only set with your agreement where required.

• Hiring partners — where you are a learner participating in placement, the profile details needed to put you forward for roles, with your knowledge.
• Legal and safety — where we are required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Droidventure, our learners or the public.
• Business transfers — if Droidventure is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that, subject to this policy.

We keep personal information only as long as we have a genuine reason to — to provide the service, support alumni outcomes, meet legal or accounting requirements, or resolve disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

For example, enquiry details from someone who does not enrol are kept for a limited period and then removed, while learner records are retained longer to support certification and placement over time.

We take security seriously and apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data:

• Encryption in transit so information moving between you and us is protected.
• Access controls so only the people who need your data to do their job can reach it.
• Vetted vendors held contractually to security standards consistent with this policy.
• Ongoing review of our practices as threats and technology evolve.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a significant breach as required by law.

We may update this policy as our services, technology or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top, and for significant changes we will give you clearer notice — by email or a prominent notice on the site — before they take effect.
